CAMBRIDGE SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS
The 200 series compact gas chromatograph with its patented flow through technology is now well established at providing excellent chromatographic performance and reliability.

Each GC is a dedicated single channel unit with a split / split-less injector, programmable pressure control and a choice of three detector options. With either a flame ionisation, thermal conductivity, or electron capture detector the 200 series GC can cover most of the analytical applications in industry today. Manual or Automatic Gas sampling Valves can also be fitted to the 200 Series GC.

The 300 series fast GC is an unconventional gas chromatograph using directly heated columns for rapid heating and cool down. It is truly a fast GC with cycle times measure in seconds and not minutes. The system does not have an oven as in a conventional GC products because direct heating of the column eliminates the need for one.
The 300 Series fast GC is equipped with a split/splitless injector, EFC (Electronic Flow Control), 4-channel EPPC (Electronic Programmable Pressure Control), various detector options and boasts a small footprint of just 320mm x 370mm that makes it a valuable space saver. The columns are made by Restek of Silcosteel and are available in multiple phases and a wide range of dimensions.

A major bonus feature of the system is ACI (Automatic Column Installation) allowing for easy push button exchanges of columns. The column cartridge design allows the ACI feature to de-skill column changing and installation by removing the need for wrenches and column nuts. Simply place the column cartridge in position, press the column install button and let the install mechanism align and seal the column.
The 205 series autosampler has been designed for use with Cambridge Scientific Instruments own award winning 200 series gas chromatograph. It has been designed to compliment the GC in both looks and price. With Up to 23 sample positions and up to 4 injections per vial selectable in the method setup the 205 series autosampler is more than suitable for overnight runs.

Model 42i NO-NO2-NOX Gas Analyzer

Chemiluminescent gas analyzer with enhanced communication
capabilities for ambient air and source emissions monitoring

Using chemiluminescence technology, the Model 42i measures the amount of nitrogen oxides in the air from sub-ppb levels up to 100ppm.The Model 42i is a single Chamber, single photomultiplier
tube design that cycles between the NO and NOX modes.
Model 49i Ozone Analyzer
Model 48i CO Gas Analyzer
Model 43i SO2 Gas Analyzer
Using UV Photometric technology, the Model 49i measures the amount of ozone in the air from ppb levels up to 200ppm.The Model 49i is a dual cell photometer, the concept adopted by the NIST for the national ozone standard.
Using gas filter correlation technology, the Model 48i measures the amount of carbon monoxide in the air. The Model 48i is based on the principle that carbon monoxide (CO) absorbs infrared radiation at a wavelength of 4.6 microns. Because infrared absorption is a nonlinear measurement technique, it is necessary for the instrument electronics to transform the basic analyzer signal into a linear output. The Model 48i uses an exact calibration curve to accurately linearize the instrument output over any range up to a concentration of 10,000ppm.
Using pulsed fluorescence technology, the Model 43i measures the amount of sulfur dioxide in the air up to 10ppm. The pulsing of the U.V. source lamp serves to increase the optical intensity whereby a greater U.V. energy throughput and lower detectable SO2 concentration are realized. Reflective bandpass filters, as compared to commonly used transmission filters, are less subject to photochemical degradation and more selective in wavelength isolation. This results in both increased detection specificity and long term stability.

   EMFAD
Evaluation of data:
After taking the measurement for asurvey, the EMFAD® - UG 12/4 kann be turned off. The data collected remain in the data logger (memory) and can be evaluated and processed with the specialized software EMFAD® - SCAN  at the site or later on. The data are transferred to the Notebook (PC) via a serial RS 232 or USB interface.
EMFAD® - SCAN enables the interpretation of the data as 2D- and 3D-views, modeling, dcumentation and printing.
The handling of the program is very simple.

The EMFAD-measuring method is based on the evaluation of variations of electromagnetic field data caused by anomalies in the subsoil. It can locate
     -  conductive materials, such as metal, pipes, barrels, cables, reinforced concrete,
         electrolytic effluents, etc.
     -  irregularities like cavities, graves, faults, shafts, ground fills, deposits, caves,
         tunnels, landfills.
The EMFAD-Technology has been successfully deployed in practice under various
different climatic and geological conditions by professionals as well as by hobby
researchers. Fields of application predominantly are archeology, geophysics, geology,
hydrology and treasure loacating (treasure hunting) in very different application areas as
archeological sites, industrial waste sites and waste deposits, building lots, mining ares, street- construction sites, military practice sites and other soil investigations.Because the EMFAD-UG 12/4 uses signals from distant VLF radio stations rather than transmitting, it is much smaller and easier to use than typical EM instruments.

  TESORO ELECTRONICS
The Cortes represents the best combination of current and new technologies that Tesoro has to offer. The new Cortes represents all phases of our new microprocessor technology combined with our tried and true analog circuits to create a detector that has all of the high end features our customers have asked for with user friendly Tesoro controls.
Tejon features a high output transmit oscillator to push the signal deeper and an increased gain for sensitivity to smaller items. The Tejon was designed from the ground up with the coin and relic hunter in mind. It also features a new color scheme from Tesoro- blue, gray and black. The Tejon was over a year and a half in the design stages and represents a new generation of Tesoro detectors.
The main part of the Vaquero’s versatility is its three and three-quarters manually adjusted ground balance. This will give the detectorist the power to set up his machine to best suit the mineralization conditions that he is working in and his personal treasure hunting style. The Vaquero adds an ED180 discrimination feature to filter the trash from the treasure and a Push Button Pinpoint that makes digging up the goodies that much easier. The discriminate knob is also used to switch into a threshold-based All Metal Mode.
