1.      INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this report is to introduce Sophilco Ltd by presenting its history,
its services and its market, in order to provide useful information for companies interested in contacting us for future collaboration.

2.      Description of Sophilco Ltd

The private company SOPHILCO Ltd. was established in October 1990. The founders are five research endineers from the Institute of Instrument Design with many years experience in the fields of:

1.     Radio Telemetric Measurements,

2.      Design of Test & Measuring Equipment, 

3.      Analytical Instruments.

Since 1990 the main task of Sophilco’s staff was maintenance and reparing of the inmported in Bulgaria equipment from PHILIPS Industrial Devision (Holland) as follow:

3.    Industrial X-Ray Equipment (defectoscopes)

4.    Electron Microscopes

5.    Analytical X-ray Equipment (spectrometers and diffractometers)

8.    Atomic Absorbtion Spectrometers

9.    UV/Vis Spectrofotometers

Diring the last 10 years the scope of activity was extended in the field of Evironmental protection in connection of delivery and maintenance of analytical and sampling equipment for emmissions and immissions:

1.    Portable gas analyzers for emmissions

2.    Microwave acid digestion systems

3.    Air sampler for emmissions & immissions of dust and gases.

Over the last 6 years Sophilco Ltd. is an active participant in the most Tenders, anounced  from the Ministry of Environment for delivery of analytical and air sampling equipment.

Now, Sophilco Ltd has 8 (eigth) service engineers with a big experience in servicing of sophisticated electronic equipment including analytical instruments, personal computers, LAN systems, Test & Measuring Equipment.

            2.3. WARRANTY AND AFTER SALE SERVICES

    SOPHILCO Ltd is service and calibration center of the above mentioned companies in warranty and out of warranty periods of the delivered equipment. 
Our company has service cars for faster reaction to the customer's problems.
The first user's training for use and maintenance is done durring the installation of the equipment.
The response time durring warranty is maximum two days, depending of the distance to the customer. At that time there are not any charges for the customer.
After warranty period there are few options for service contracts:


-    service contract for preventive maintenance

-     service contract for corrective maintenance

-     service contract for corrective maintenance

If needed,spare parts are ordered fron the manifactirer and supplied according the costomer's needs
